NCAA Football 2010 Headed to Wii?

Posted on Jan 6, 2009 10:14:27 PM

Football fans rejoice- apparently EA is giving football gamers more bang for their Wii dollar and will be releasing the popular college franchise on a Wii system near you. Typically the Wii isn’t held as the true “Sports Console” but it is nice to see EA supporting this generations #1 seller with all genres of games.

Madden looked fun so why not NCAA?? Mark this one down as a rumor for now gamers….

Hasbro Family Game Night

Posted on Jan 6, 2009 11:25:05 AM

Game TitleLet me start out by saying Happy New Year to all of you avid Game On Nintendo followers.  For those of you who don’t remember me (yea right)…It is I Kmaxx and I am bringing you a review of the EA title Hasbro Family Game Night for the Wii.  How many times have you been sitting around the living room going I want to play a board game but don’t feel like pulling it out and setting it up?  Well be lazy no more EA has put together a good compilation of Hasbro board games.  The games included with this title are:  Boggle, Battle Ship, Sorry, Sorry Sliders, Connect 4,  and Yahtzee.  Your MC for this game is none other than Mr. Potato Head.   Each game has 3 variations of play for that game and if you have no one in the house to play with don’t worry you can always count on the computer to be there to give you some competition.

As you win games you unlock different items for your room.  Even if you lose games if you manage to do certain things you still can unlock different items for your room.  The best part of this whole game experience is you don’t have to fight about who will be cleaning the games up.  I give this game 7 out of 10.  This is Kmaxx Signing off and saying “the return is upon us and things are about to go back to the way they were.”  Have fun and I suggest getting this game!

Image of the Day…Amazing Zelda Art

Posted on Jan 6, 2009 09:35:04 AM

Peering unto today’s image of the day makes me truly wonder what Nintendo should/could do with the Zelda franchise. How sweet would it be if we got a gritty but cartoony, top down Zelda in the vein of the DS and SNES versions of the remarkable franchise?

Enjoy…

Any news regarding Wii’s highly anticipated shooter “The Conduit” is good news in my opinion. The title is being heralded as Wii’s “ultimate FPS” shooter experience and has really turned heads since its debut. Below is a brand new scan of the game in action and is taken from the latest issue of Nintendo Power magazine.

Super Smash Bros. Headed to Wii VC

Posted on Jan 1, 2009 01:20:46 PM

Great news gamers, it appears as though Super Smash Bros., the N64 classic title, is headed to a VC (in Japan) near you. Hearing this very promising news makes one wonder when they will release this amazing title here in the States. Here is the quote below from the good guys over at Sickr:

Nintendo’s endearing Nintendo 64 brawler Super Smash Brothers is due to arrive on the Japanese Virtual Console in January. No word at present as to when we will see the title arrive on Western shores but fingers are crossed it shouldn’t take too long to appear.
