Wario Ware News

What’s so special about WarioWare: Smooth Moves? That’s what Goro Abe, creator of the WarioWare series, was discussing with IGN recently.

Abe states that Smooth Moves prompts the player for specific remote-wielding position before starting each five-second challenge. Abe expects there to be about 200 microgames in total, much like in previous entries in the series. The other games were an absolute blast to play and wer ethe ultimate party games.

For multiplayer, Abe says that while there won’t be any form of online multiplayer included in the title, there will be several ways to play locally: “…because we are only using one controller we would like to create a multiplayer entertainment atmosphere by having one player playing the game and the other people being entertained by looking at that person. Then we would like to have a mode where we will have one remote, but it will be passed onto the next player and they will race their micro-game times. And another plan we have is to connect the nunchuck to the Wii remote and have one player hold onto the Wii remote and the other the nunchuck, and cooperate to proceed through the game.”

Smooth Moves will support progressive scan but is not currently slated to have 16:9 widescreen, and the game is expected to be reelased within the first ninety days of launch, but Abe couldn’t specify the date any further than that. While the online feature is a little bit of a let down, I still cannot wait for the game. As always, we will keep you updated.

Just wait! I had an amazing meeting yesturday about the site and the direction it’s going and let me just say this; our aim is to build the best network of gamers around! I know that this is a lot of people’s goal but I have been working on the back end of the site for a long time now and stuff like exchanging friend codes are just the tip of the iceberg. You will start to notice small changes along the way but soon we are going to blow the doors off of this site. Thanks for always coming by and commenting. Big stuff is on the horizon. What do you want to see? Any suggestions?

1:Some forums where people can discuss anything on nintendo.

2:Have like a contest where people can do art work for your site(nintendo related) and re-input the drawing into the main site as the background a weekly or monthy thing?.

3:When givin info on news give link to whom or site it was posted for proof you know how some people are.

4:A forum or some sort of place where anyone can post there score on what ever game.

5:Have like a daily chat with the people who come to your site letting them know when you are going to be online and date/time.

6:Give hints and tips to the games. like your own game guide from whatever game.

7:Give a music background of classic songs (nintendo-related)when in the site so people can remember.

    8:have daily polls

9:give people a varity of other sort of news, music, movies try not to put to much because some may back away by saying is this a game site or not just a (reminder). you know how some are

10:speak on other systems like ps3 x-box360 bring in more people but keep it as i say a true gamer plays what ever game for any system as long as you give the others a chance and not critize them. do it after you played the game or have them give there info on why its so good.
