Rumor Mill: Virtual Console Edition

Everyone loves a good rumor and with Nintendo’s 5th console there is definitely no shortage. The following rumors will be about Nintendo’s virtual console. Here’s the scoop:

My sources are stating that Metroid Prime 3 will allow free downloading of old Metroid titles as reward for completing certain goals throughout the game. This rewards system will make players unlock certain events or parts in the game, then have access to the old title. It also does not stop there gamers, Nintendo will be hosting online tournaments with virtual console games at stake.

Some of the old games will feature “special features” for the innovative Wiimote. One example is how Duck Hunt works with the Wiimote. Don’t get your hopes up too high though, not all of them will do this.

Also Super Mario 1 may be included with every console.
