I hope the original ign clip did not feature the hallelujah music.
Some times I feel Matt is throwing the company line.
Though when Nintendo changed the name to, just Wii, his first comment in an interview was, why did you do this to us; that was a lol moment in Nintendo history.
I feel with the Wii, Nintendo had tunnel vision for Japan; they invested in making it as compact as possible. I would have invested in researching and developing a better cooling solution so the system could run powerful chips without the risk of overheating. Sony took a huge risk in multi core technology that I think will turn into the highest failure rate the industry has ever seen. It’s a scary thought that Sony could do a complete belly flop with all these publishers already heavily invested in the system.
I think PS3 is going to show that Japan is a hypocrite about size. They just don’t like American products. 360 is dead in Japan, the only thing that could save it there is Wii remote control in Halo 3. I see Japan split 60% Wii and 40% PS3. In America though I think Sony is going to end up in third. At this point it could be argued that the fewer PS3s Sony sells the less money their company loses.
