Great podcast guys! Thanks a heck of a lot for talking about my site and me in general, that was really heart warming to me. Thanks!

I don’t know how long your podcast was(I was listening with Quicktime) but it did seem a bit long. What made it seem even longer is that it was VERY hard to hear Steve during a lot of the show. I could hear you Ryan(I thought your name was Gary?)loud and clear. Maybe he just needs another mic? When he finishes his sentences his voice gets extremely low.

As far as content goes, that was a lot more informative than the first podcast. You didn’t say: “What are Mii’s? “Mii’s are this…” You talked about what you wanted to DO with the Mii’s instead.

As far as the graphics go for the Wii so far, its really a mixed bag through and through. Red Steel is now looking fantastic, however Call of Duty 3(so far) looks worse than the Gamecube version of Call of Duty 2: Big Red One. Activision NEEDS to delay this game badly. Having in-game characters that have hands but only have 1 index finger and thumb that can move with the rest of the fingers stuck together like they have some kind of human deformity is so Nintendo 64. Unacceptable. Sure the smoke looks great in the game, but thats it. IGN said that Activision had a very limited time to work on this game to get it ready for launch; that right there should tell them that they should delay the game to make it better. Don’t get me started on the pixelated textures on the characters too….Delay the game, put multiplayer in it, put Wiiconnect24 Wi-fi in it, raise the texture resolution on the characters, give each character more polygons(hands) and release it in March. As of right now there is no way in hell any informed gamer will buy that game, its sad I know. Activision looks like half Asstivision.

As far as the controller goes, its going to be great. Nintendo has already proven that it works wonders in the games that they are publishing. Third Parties are still getting to know it and are working out the kinks, that is where most of the complaints are coming from-lack of experience and just getting it to work properly. The Sony fanboys in disguise(1up)who paint doom on the Wii just because their sensor got bothered and they lost control for a brief moment need to understand those things.

Sonic on Wii and Sonic on the PS3/Xbox360 really do not look much different. Its more a testament to the Wii and its less power being able to look close to those other systems.

So anyway, thanks again for the mention! Great Podcast I just hope next time the volume is better(for Steve) and maybe the show a little less long. Other than that, keep up the great work.

So which is it? Ryan or Gary???

“The PS3 hits store shelves on Nov. 17, and Sony has promised between one million and 1.2 million PS3s in the U.S. by the end of the year.

The Nintendo Wii follows two days later, and is expected to be in greater supply than the PS3.

But sellouts of both consoles this year are virtually guaranteed.

As a result, GameStop has not yet decided when, or even if, it will offer pre-orders for the new systems.

A pre-order basically lets you reserve your place in line, guaranteeing you a console in exchange for a little up-front cash.”

So after hearing again about the October 9th date as being the “day” to pre-order on your Podcast, I want to know what you think about this statement my friend.

HAHAHAH. It’s actually Gary and Dave. My 2 best freinds are Ryan and Steve so I decided as a joke to use their names instead, to see if they actually listen to my podcasts! Plus it makes Dave and I laugh our asses off during the podcast.

(I have a wierd sense of humor)

Thanks Metaldave! Hopefully that gave you some traffic your way to your quality site. You have been doing some really good reporting lately and I admire that.

The second statement… We’ll have to wait and see….=) You heard it here first my young Jedi!

Thanks a lot, I get pretty decent traffic on my site but its always nice to hear your name mentioned on a Podcast. I DO hope you are right about the Gamestop pre-orders. Thanks GARY.

“This is in no way confirmed information!

Preorders for the PS3 and Wii open up on Tuesday, October 10th. You will need to put $50 down. There is no trade in offers or anything.

Also it is each store managers decision if they want to open preorders, or sell the systems on a first come, first serve basis.

As I have said before, I have decided to sell the systems at my store on a first come, first serve basis.

Not all stores will be doing preorders, since it is the managers choice.

Hope this helps anyone who has been wondering.

I am the store manager for the store in Greensburg, PA.”

Gonintendo keeps getting different answers as to when the pre-orders take place. If its the 9th or 10th that will be fine with me, I just want to know for sure the day and I’ll be there with the 50 dollars.

Yes, you will get all the credit if pre-orders do in fact start on the 9th.
