Wii Reserve Information UPDATE!!!
OK here is the deal. I know that I posted today, October 9th, as the official day that “certain stores” would be taking preorders and much to my dismay I was “off.” Before you guys start calling me a “fake” notice the quotes of me being “off”. I know that I am speaking in generalities but let’s just say I wasn’t “too far” off. That is all that I can say for now but I will be seeing you guys “tomorrow”…..That’s a lot of quotes…. Game ON.
Update: Ok this is hopefully the FINAL UPDATE in the never ending Wii-Reserve saga. FRIDAY THE 13TH IS THE DATE!!!! It was supposed to be tomorrow, but FRIDAY the 13th is the date! What a weird date but it’s finally official. Sorry guys for all of the ups and downs but you can write that one on a bank slip because it’s money in the bank. Corny sayings aside this Friday is the date. I know I have my money set aside and will be lined up and waiting.

Gamestop has seriously let me down this ‘new console’ round with all the inconsistent information, and a general “unorganized” handling of the preorders.
Nevertheless, I’ll be there tomorrow anyways to pick up my Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.

I heard they are not going to pre-order in the stores, that they are only pre-ordering online, is it true??
I just called my Gamestop(in San Diego) and my friend there(Manager) told me that they will be doing pre-orders for the Wii, they just were waiting for the info from Nintendo that tells them the amount of systems they will be getting. He did not say it would be Friday or any day, just to keep checking back because it would be “soon”.
Game On, did your guy tell you that Friday the 13th would be the day for all of America or just your area in New York??
Usually when they roll this stuff out its company wide and not by location. At first it was supposed to be tomorrow btu then he called me right back and said friday.

How can this be “offical” if Gamestop has not announced it yet? Sorry for questioning but I don’t want to get my hopes way up just to be let down, I thought today was the day and now its not. How can you assure me that this WILL be the day?
