Interesting Wii Rumors
Please take the following as rumour only and nothing more, but a Japanese site claims the following:
1. From Software is developing a Kingsfieldesque first-person action-RPG on Wii (sounds like an Oblivion style title)
2. Fire Emblem for the Wii will include the original Path of Radiance as well as the sequel to the game
3. NiGHTS to come to the Wii
4. Square and Disney have agreed to place the next Kingdom Hearts on Nintendo systems
5. Sword of Legendia is a spinoff of the Tales of series and is the first game of the Swords of series
My Thoughts:
What a way to kick off the weekend huh gamers? I will have to do some more investigating but file this under “rumor” for now. It seems as though the Nights rumors continues to persist and the Fire Emblem rumor seems pretty nifty; but can you imagine if Nintendo Wii got a killer app like Kingdom Hearts? I can only hope at this point that a portion of these rumors turn out to be true. Game ON.

New Dragon Quest Trailer!
Quick Update: Hello gamers, be sure to click here and check out the amazing new trailer for the upcoming Wii title Dragon Quest Swords for the Nintendo Wii. Make sure you click on “new” located on the right side of the site.
The game is coming along nicely and I cannot wait to try out an RPG from a first person perspective. What do you guys think? Is Square taking a gamble by making an RPG in first person perspective, or should they have stuck with the “classic” set up?

GamePro: First Look of Metroid Prime 3
It seems as though the lucky guys over at GamePro got a chance to go hands-on with Nintendo’s Metroid Prime 3: Corruption at an invite-only gaming session. Here is what they had to report:
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Definitely stole the the show. The graphics looked amazing better than Halo 2 on the Xbox without a doubt and the levels showed off sparkling details, proving the Wii is far more powerful than the Gamecube. Out of all the games we played, the Wii controller seemed most at home with Metroid.
The experience was much like playing a PC first-person shooter, especially since the nunchucku analog stick controlled movement We found that standing roughly four feet from the TV provided the best motion, and the cursor stayed smooth and steady no shakiness! The frame rate was also smooth and consistent, even when the screen got crowded with special effects. Metroid was probably the best Wii game on display. Wii cant wait to play more!
Anyone nervous about Wii’s graphics can now breathe a sigh of relief. Metroid has quickly jumped up my list of must have title and I cannot wait to play this title! If this recent story effects your “must have” title list for 2007, be sure to vote in our poll located on the right side of the site. Currently Mario Galaxy is winning but this story may sway some of your votes. Game ON!
