The Simpsons Coming To Wii?

Posted on Mar 31, 2007 12:24:23 PM

With the recent praise given to Nintendo’s 5th console Wii by Simpson’s writer J. Stewart Burns, one would only assume that everyone’s favorite animated family would be hitting the Wii.

Now we all know what happens when we assume things, but my good friend told me today that he has reserved his copy of a Simpson’s video game for the Nintendo Wii. Funny, I don’t remember reading anything about a new Simpson’s title but this pretty much confirms this.

I would imagine that the title should be popping up around the release of the movie. Keep it here gamers and we will keep you updated.

Virtua Fighter 2 Headed to VC?

Posted on Mar 31, 2007 12:23:18 PM

Quick Update: Representatives from Sega of America have announced three new Genesis titles planned to be released soon over the Nintendo Wii’s Virtual Console, including the classic fighting game Virtua Fighter 2. Don’t get overly excited gamers as the VC will see the release of the Genesis version and not the Saturn version of the game.

Still decent news none-the-less. Game On.

Cult rhythm game Guitar Hero is on its way to Wii. It comes with a guitar-shaped controller and plays convincingly enough to make you think youre making real music. Hopefully well get the actual guitar, and not a pretend remote/nunchuk version.
