Whether you like them or not, it seems as though we will definitely be using friend codes for upcoming Wii Wi-Fi titles.

“Then he hit me with a surprise left, my jaw left hurt’n”

Well this is not really a surprise but it does hurt to see that the friend codes will still be with Wii online games. I hope that the game (or all games for that matter) will have “worldwide” matches like DS games so we won’t have to rely on our friends being home, that would be awful.

I read on another website, that the friend codes will only be used if you want to play someone outside of your country.

Bleh.. i spit on this idea. Seriously, nintendo is getting too overprotective. Hopefully, if and when they make a mic. for the wii you wont have to have friend codes. That would ruin the fun. The talking and stuff is half the fun. If you’ve played xbox live you know this.

    Hmm…..

I honestly don’t care much for friend codes, nor do I care about them. Playing online, I want to play with my friends that I can’t play with in person. So, friends I make on forums, I’ll play with. And these people I’ll give my friend codes.

I often find that when playing an online game, the people are really annoying and I don’t want to be friends with them anyway. Hopefully there will still be a “rival” system of some sort if you really have a good game. And I wouldn’t mind a lobby system either to make setting up and finding games easier.
