Death Jr. Review
![]()
Death Jr is one of those titles that you want to succeed, and in many ways does, but just falls short of making this a true must have title.
I will be more than happy to start off with the positives of this imaginative title. You play as Death Jrand when a science fair project goes haywire, this is where your adventure begins.
From there you gain allies in your adventure adding much needed depth to this quality game. Each character poses their own unique ability and you will frequently switch between the imaginative characters. One minute you will play as the main character, Death Jr and the next you will be switching to one of his com rads.
I have read other numerous reviews on the title involving the titles graphics and I have to say I disagree with their negative feedback. Don’t get me wrong, the title is not a wonder to look at but let’s keep in mind, this is the Nintendo DS. I would have to rate the graphics simply as “pretty good” and I accept the limits that my wonderful little handheld can do.
I did however had control issues that if I wasn’t in a patient mood, I would have liked to literally throw my DS. (Lucky for me, I was in a patient mood)
Overall I give the title 6.8 out of 10. I like what the franchise is trying to do, it’s just not fully there.
**Konami was generous enough to supply us with our review copy of Death Jr so HUGE props to them. Make sure you also check out DeathJr.com for more inquiries about the title**
