Metroid= Freaking Amazing!

Posted on Aug 28, 2007 10:01:35 PM

You may have noticed a lack of news today on the site but that’s not because there isn’t news to be reported (more on that later), but because I am engrossed in Metroid Prime 3. If any of you are out there reading this post and still do not own this must have title, I beg you to go to your local game store and purchase this game now. Please don’t wait another minute.

I am currently only an hour into the title but I already know that I am in for a rare and amazing treat. If you have read any of the other reviews online about Metroid, I am preaching to the choir. Simply put, this title will grab your attention and force you to play this magnificent marvel.

Here are some of the more important news stories that I may have missed today:

-In the latest issue of EGM, rumour has it that the Kingdom Hearts series will see prequels (which further push the “Kingdom Hearts on Wii” rumours) and that Capcom is currently working on an upgraded port with Wii Remote controls on the high-acclaimed PS2 game, Okami.

-IGN reviews Tiger Woods ‘08. Click here and see how the golf sim faired.

-Rygar is looking pretty good so be sure to click here and check out some new screens of the title.

-And for all things Metroid, the good guys over at 4CR have created this informational post regarding all news Metroid. Be sure to check it out.

New WiiWare Game Announced!

Posted on Aug 28, 2007 07:45:17 AM

Quick Update: Medaverse Studios has just announced that Gravitronix is in development for the Wii’s WiiWare service. For all of those who are unaware of what WiiWare is, it is a downloadable service very similar to the VC channel but with original content.

Although details are scarce on the title thus far, the game is said to be an action/battle game that offers 1-4 player support that is set in a single-screen arena.
