LOS ANGELES (November 6, 2007) – Sierra Entertainment, a division of Vivendi Games announced today that Geometry Wars: Galaxies has gone gold and will be available nationwide on November 20th for the Nintendo Wii and November 27th for the Nintendo DS.

The Geometry Wars: Galaxies videogame for both the Nintendo Wii and DS accelerates to warp speed with tons of enemies, more than 60 planets, bigger power-ups and a brand new Battle Drone to help players tear through the campaign mode. For the first time ever, Geometry Wars will also let players battle in a variety of planets in multiplayer mode.

I thought you guys may enjoy this official press release as it has been so slow today for news. I thoroughly enjoyed Geometry Wars on my 360 so I am interested to see how this turns out for Wii. I hope this one will justify the $40.00 price tag and offer enough new content to keep it fresh and new. What do you guys think?

The countdown for Mario has begun gamers!

Mario Galaxy, in my humble opinion, will be the pinnacle of the Mario franchise and will re-invigorate the series as a whole. Take everything you know about the platformer genre and flip it upside down (literally)!

I cannot believe we only have 1 more week until we get our hands on arguably the greatest videogame character of all time. In the meantime gamers my advice to you is this: grab a Mario title, sit back and play the damn thing (myself included). Mario Galaxy is going to be one great title. How are you guys preparing?
