Here is some interesting news:

“We sat down with the boss of Sonic Team USA, Takashi Iizuka, at the Wii Flat in London yesterday to quiz him on his new game, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams on Wii - and he revealed an interesting fact about the game’s development. Turns out that of all the four control methods available, the development team all play the game using GameCube controllers

I can honestly say I do not understand why more 3rd party developers are not utilizing the old Gamecube controller or even the “classic” controller that Nintendo released to give us a choice as to how we want to play our games. Don’t get me wrong, motion controls are awesome and I think it’s where the industry needs to go, I just think that it would be nice to have a choice.
