The often rumored but never confirmed online Wii headset may indeed see the light of day after all. If you have ever played any title over the Nintendo Wii’s Wi-Fi connection, you will all notice that the main thing missing in your online experience is a headset allowing gamers to shout out orders and talk smack (much like I just did in the superb Call of Duty 4 for 360).Well gamers, while this is still a rumor, it seems we are one step closer to confirmation. Under the game description for Ubi Soft’s Brother in Arms title for Wii, there is a line that states “special controllers: headset” Check out the description below:

Special Controllers: Headset

Cooperative Online Modes: Competitive, Cooperative,

While in no way does this confirm anything, it does provide us a lot to speculate about and hopefully something to look forward to as it is essential to a great online experience and is something that the Nintendo Wii needs. What do you guys think? I am keeping my fingers crossed that this happens before Super Smash Bros. Brawl
