Awesome. Purely awesome. For all of those gamers out there who were eagerly anticipating and hoping that the amazing Rock Band would head to Nintendo Wii, put those fears away; it’s finally official!
In a third-quarter conference call today, Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello confirmed that a Wii version of Rock band is forthcoming.
Riccitiello mentioned the game at the end of the call’s question-and-answer session. There was no release date given, but Riccitiello referred to the “coming launch” of a Wii version of the game.
Being that Guitar Hero III is selling rather well on Nintendo’s 5th console Wii, it was almost a given that this game would be headed our way but it’s always nice to hear a final confirmation. Game On.

For all of those fans who have dreamed of a new Punch Out for a Nintendo console we may be able to breathe a sigh of relief. Today EA announced that a brand new IP is in development for all major systems including our Nintendo Wii.
The title looks to be very similar to Nintendo’s own Punch Out series and will be welcomed with open arms upon release!
“We’re very excited to announce FaceBreaker, an all-new franchise from EA SPORTS that is fun, fresh and innovative,” said Peter Moore, president, EA SPORTS. “FaceBreaker reinvigorates one of the great genres in sports videogames. Arcade boxing takes me back to my roots in this industry, and this game signals our shift to adding more approachable fun to our product lineup. In no time at all, you’ll be picking up the controllers and knocking your opponent around the ring, smashing faces, and having a riot.”
Good stuff gamers!

January 31st, 2008. Super Smash Bros. Brawl has officially gone on sale in Japan. Is everybody having fun with it?
However, Smash won’t come out in North America for a bit and sadly, Europe has an even longer wait until the game releases.
For the past eight months or so, Smash Dojo has served as a source of basic information for the game, but with the release of Brawl, the Dojo will take on a new role.
From here on out, the Dojo will begin to introduce the hidden characters, hidden stages, and additional features in Brawl that have gone unmentioned until now. I’d like to continue to add on to the Dojo so that players of Brawl can come back to this website following it’s completion and view Smash Dojo as a sort of guide for the game.
I plan on continuing updates for another two months, so please continue to enjoy the site.
Just remember, I’ll be posting information on hidden characters and other in-game secrets, so you should take caution when viewing the site if you want to save those surprises for later.
