I always wanted to say “MEGATON” and now I finally got to say it…. That is if the following story proves to be true. Ladies and gentlemen I think we may officially have this generations winning console, Nintendo Wii. Check out the following quote that apparently comes from the March 2008 issue of Nintendo Power magazine:

Summary:

- Kingdom hearts 3 Wii exclusive, developed and published by square-enix.
- Tetsuya Nomura is the game director.
- Yoko Shimomura composer.
- Direct sequel to KH3, but also will reveal interesting things about chains of memories.
- Sora main character, a new misterious girls is also one of the main characters
- combat system vastly improved, every attack looks “sick”, uses Wii-Remote in a very intuitive way
- Best looking Wii game, uses normal mapping far more than Konami’s dewey’s adventure, the animations are incredible and the art directon is a little less “kiddie”
- Winter 2008 release

Best looking Wii title to date? A mysterious new character? Incredible art direction? SIGN ME UP!

Remember 2 weeks ago every major internet site that is dedicated to promoting Nintendo was reporting that there is a major RPG headed to a unspecified Nintendo console? Well gamers that title may indeed be the infamous Square Enix masterpiece, Kingdom Hearts.

Kingdom Hearts seems like it just belongs on a Nintendo console and we just may get our wish. With recent comments stating that Square wants to develop more titles for Wii, this RUMOR may not be too far off. Imagine the implications if this bodes true gamers!

Stay tuned!

Why Is There No Capcom In Brawl?

Posted on Feb 4, 2008 06:23:05 PM

Admit it, we all were hoping to see Mega Man in Brawl. (well.. most of us) Of course we know that he was decided to not be put into the game. But honestly, why not? The guys over at Kotaku think they might have an idea of why Mega Man (or any other Capcom characters for that matter) were not put into the game!

With all the characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, there are a few that are missing. Where’s Mega-Man? That character certainly wouldn’t be out of place. Or what about Chun-Li or Ryu? The SNES controller was designed to suit the Street Fighter II port! Likewise, those characters would be right at home with the Smash Bros. Want to know why? Several insiders tell us that Nintendo was apparently still upset about GameCube exclusive Resident Evil 4 going multi-platform, and thus, decided not to include Capcom characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl during development. However, with Capcom making a valiant effort at third part Wii developing with Zack & Wiki, do expect better relations between the two companies. Old wounds do heal — even when you are Nintendo! Heck, we wouldn’t be surprised if Capcom and Nintendo were ironing out a deal for the developer to make more Wii titles.

True or not, its something to think about.
