   In my humble opinion, they’re still advertising the wheel waaaaaaaaaaay too much. to me, it seems like their point is, “when you buy this wheel, you get a game free!” not cool.

   Your point is well taken. Honestly I will probably never use the wii wheel and it does seem that Nintendo is pushing for this perepheril (sp.) a lot.

   I don’t think my wii wheel will ever make it out of the package (I still have my links crossbow training in the box)

   I actually did use the zapper, and apart from blocking the access to several buttons, didn’t mind it all too much, but I still will never use the wheel more than once, but that will just to justify my spite.

   Actually, I’m curious to try the wheel. I enjoyed the controls for Excite Truck, but it always felt a bit awkward trying to pretend a rectangular object was a wheel and having to compensate for that. Since the wheel is obviously…..a wheel, perhaps the problems I had with Excite Truck will be alleviated. Some impressions say the wheel rocks, others say it feels inauthentic. Regardless, just like with Smash Bros. control setups, I’m looking forward to trying the different methods for this game.

   But I do agree with you, they are definitely pushing this peripheral a bit too much for my tastes. =P Seriously, who cares if online you get a little wheel next to your name for using the Wii Wheel? =P
