New MySims Kingdom Screens

Posted on Jun 2, 2008 10:57:20 AM

Below are fresh new screens of the recently announced MySims Kingdom title that is headed to Nintendo Wii. After skipping the first MySims title, I have to say that I am very eager to try this one out as it looks rather promising. I think it will work perfectly with the Wii and I will hopefully be purchasing this one on launch day. Enjoy the screens.

Today we get 2 WiiWare titles as well as a NeoGeo title. Here’s what you can download today on North American VC:

Protöthea - WiiWare - 1,000 Wii Points
Protöthea is a top-down scrolling shooter game with free movement that puts players in complete control of a last-generation spaceship. The mission is to destroy the asteroid called Maqno 01 and finish with the plans of The Core. [Published by UbiSoft]

Toki Tori - WiiWare - 1,000 Wii Points
In this puzzle/platform game, players use a variety of items such as the Telewarp, InstantRock and Slug Sucker. Clever use and combination of these items are needed to solve all the game’s levels, of which there are more than 70. The game even uses the Wii Message Board in a unique way. Ninja Combat - NEOGEO - 1990 - 900 Wii Points
Take control of the ninjas Joe (one player) and Hayabusa (two players), and enter into battle against a group of evil ninjas called the Kage Ichizoku. Ninja Combat also supports simultaneous play with two players, so you can grab a friend and defeat the Kage Ichizoku together. [Published by D4 Enterprise]

Brand New “Sadness” Screen

Posted on Jun 2, 2008 08:20:55 AM

Take a gander at the elusive “Sadness” title that is in development for Nintendo Wii below. The title is being brought to you by Nibris, a fairly new company, and promises one of the scariest experiences you will ever witness on a home console. I am still on the fence about this game as I think it will never see the light of day. I don’t want to sound pessimistic; I just truly think that we will never see this one released. Make me wrong Nintendo and Nibris, make me wrong!
