We all know that E3 is a huge deal among the gaming community and in case you missed it, last week I decided that I would be bringing you guys a series of posts that hopefully will reveal the big N’s plans for this momentous occasion and keep you all informed about the event. I recently found the quote below and I thought you all would be interested in reading it:

“I’ve heard strong rumors that Nintendo is going to unveil an all-new game with all-new characters,” says senior GamePro editor Sid Shuman. “E3 might make a lot of sense for that announcement, despite its smaller size this year.” But most promising is the fact that Nintendo has yet to unveil its fall/winter lineup, something that would obviously make sense to do at E3.

In terms of third-party games, Wii owners may be in for a flood support, that is if Capcom’s community specialist is to be believed. “The lack of AAA titles has a lot to do with third-parties simply being caught with their pants down,” a company moderator wrote last week. “The good news is… many plans and budgets have been shifted and adjusted, and AAA titles should be in the pipeline for Wii, though not ready to be announced.”

I don’t know about you guys but I know I would love to see the Big N reveal something totally original. The 3rd party bit also sounds very promising and I will keep my ear to the ground regarding any new announcements from 3rd parties.

Good stuff Nintendo, now deliver! What would you guys like to see from Nintendo?

More Wario Land: The Shake Dimension Screens

Posted on Jun 11, 2008 11:17:08 AM

If you see what I see, “Wii” may get animated cut scenes in Wario’s next adventure! Honestly though I am very eager to get my hands on this game as I haven’t played an excellent 2-D title in years (Minus Super Mario Bros. DS).

More on this promising title as it develops.
