Let the flood gates open gamers; Nintendo has just announced the Wii MotionPlus, a plug-in adapter for the Wiimote that, as Nintendo describes it, can more quickly and accurately reflect motions in a 3-D space. This announcement comes just hours before Microsoft’s E3 press conference, where the console rival is rumored to be showing its answer to the Wiimote. Check out the quote below:
“The Wii MotionPlus accessory attaches to the end of the Wii Remote and, combined with the accelerometer and the sensor bar, allows for more comprehensive tracking of a player’s arm position and orientation, providing players with an unmatched level of precision and immersion,” says Nintendo. “Every slight movement players make with their wrist or arm is rendered identically in real time on the screen, providing a true 1:1 response in their game play. The Wii MotionPlus accessory reconfirms Nintendo’s commitment to making games intuitive and accessible for everyone.”

Nintendo has just released some fresh new screens of Pokémon Platinum for Nintendo DS in the latest CoroCoro Comics. The game should be released this fall in Japan and you can check out the new screens below:

Quick Update: The good guys over at 1UP has just released their personal predictions for what will go down in the next couple of days for the E3 extravaganza. No one knows for sure what will go on, but click here and read over what they had to say.

And then there was 1. 1 more day gamers and we will finally get to see what Nintendo has been working on for the past year. 1 more day and we will know what direction the highly impressive Wii will be headed. In 1 more day we will hear more about the titles you care about most…And we will be here to cover it all.
