I know what you’re thinking…This isn’t a Nintendo product review so why is it on “GameonNintendo”…Well the answer is simple gamers; Apple has recently paid me an exorbitant amount of money to plug their latest entry into their growing iPhone games store and held me at gunpoint in order to do this review (non of which actually happened, I just kid to add some drama to Gameonnintendo).

In all honesty though I am a gamer first so I have decided to give our iPhone users a nice little write up on one of the most addictive titles to hit the apps store.

Chimps ahoy essentially fuses 2 classic arcade games and molds them into 1 great experience. The mix of the classic Pong and blockbreaker translates surprisingly well and offers some awesome gameplay that will leave you begging for more. Once you download the title, the game is instantly accessible and you’re literally playing in no time at all.

The premise is easy; knock out all the blocks in the center of the playing area and bounce a coconut between your primate friends, keeping the virtual fruit in play. The game is remarkably easy to play but hard to master. Controlling the game is near flawless and could’ve easily turned out a lot worse.

Graphics and sound also shine in this must have title. The graphics are vibrant and colorful and the sound is fantastic.

Overall this is one of the best bargains for your iPhone. It’s $5 and can be enjoyed by anyone! With 100 different levels and a plethora of unlockable rewards, Chimps Ahoy should be one of the best title that you can download on your new iPhone.
