It’s great to see Nintendo doing phenomenal over in Japan but did anyone else notice that the 360 outsold the PS3? Maybe Microsoft can survive outside of America…

Wow, I think Marvelous is my new favorite company (don’t worry High Voltage, you’re up there too). Below are some beautiful new screens of Arc Rise Fantasia that I thought all of you would enjoy. After you wipe the drool off your keyboards, let me know if you plan on getting this 3rd party gem in the comments section.

Awesome Sonic Unleashed Gameplay

Posted on Oct 9, 2008 11:01:40 AM

Earlier we gave you the brand new trailer for Sonic and the black knight and now we give you the amazing Sonic Unleashed. I am personally more excited about Sonic Unleashed but I know some of you feel different. I just couldn’t get into Sonic and the Secret Rings as much as I would’ve liked too. Anyone disagree?

TGS ‘08: Impressive Monster Hunter 3 Screens

Posted on Oct 9, 2008 09:22:51 AM

I have said it before and I will say it again, this game is going to solidify the Nintendo Wii as the console of choice in Japan. Monster Hunter 3 is, in every way, going to rock the Wii upon release. The game is already looking very polished and is a win for Nintendo fans (meaning the team decided to bring this to Wii instead of PS3).

Fun Fact:
The Monster Hunter series is mammoth in Japan and sells millions upon millions of copies with every release. The PSP version even helped the handheld beat out the DS in terms of systems sold solely because of this title. Can you imagine when the Wii version comes out?

“Marvelous” New Screens

Posted on Oct 9, 2008 09:10:18 AM

Do you see what I did up there in the headline?? Check out some brand new screens of 2 upcoming Wii titles, Little Kings Story and Oboro Muramasa Youtouden. I am extremely excited for both titles and I applaud the team over at Marvelous for bringing these 2 quality titles to Wii. Although I think Little King’s story will be a little misunderstood (”it’s just another kids game for Wii”), I am eagerly anticipating that game.

Enjoy.

Long title, promising game! Below is a brand new scan of the promising Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time for the Nintendo DS. There is a reason why the DS is the #1 selling system; it has every single type of game that any gamer could ever want (which will hopefully be repeated by the Wii). Enjoy the new scan gamers.

New Zelda to Have “No Ideas”

Posted on Oct 9, 2008 08:37:03 AM

We all know that games evolve over time and stuff changes in games with inevitable sequels but it seems like the next Zelda title may have a couple of newer tricks up its sleeve whenever Nintendo decides to release it. Check out the promising quote from the man himself:

“The Zelda team in particular always works on Zelda titles. The core members of the Zelda team have for a very long time now been focused on Zelda games, and continue to focus on Zelda games, so they are hard at work and working away. And then, of course, we have the DS Zelda team as well, so even there we’re having some switching of people in and out where the DS team is mixing in with the Wii team and working on the Wii version. I don’t necessarily think it (Zelda) will change that drastically, but I think that Zelda is a franchise that does need some big new unique ideas. And so the team right now is very focused on trying to find those ideas.” - Miyamoto

What would you implement in the next Zelda? Personally I LOVED the DS version and would love to see something along those lines of innovation. They didn’t reinvent the wheel but man did that game keep my attention.
