I strongly urge all of you to read the following quote and let it resonate within your gaming heart:
- I’ll make this very clear. If you want the very best game of golf that Wii has to offer, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 All-Play is the standout answer. In fact, this is one of the most enjoyable golf titles I’ve played on any system to date and there are a number of reasons why this is true
That was a quote from the good guys over at IGN regarding Wii’s incarnation of the popular sports franchise, Tiger Woods Golf. It’s awesome to hear such positive words regarding a Wii title and hopefully will be a sign of things to come as my Wii recently has been *gasp* collecting dust for the last month (One Word “Braid”…for all of those who have the title, you know what I am talking about!)

Let me start off my impressions by saying this; everyone should at least try this title at least once. For the last 3 nights, Boom Blox has captivated the castle of Game On and has truly grabbed everyone that has played it by surprise. I can honestly say that I hope that the following iimpressions encourages some of you to purchase this awesome game.
Boom Blox comes as a welcome surprise in the Wii’s ever growing, but sometimes underrated (I’m talking from a review standpoint), 3rd party titles and should be played, if not purchased, by a plethora of gamers everywhere.
I have chosen to write up an “impressions” column rather than a full review because my current status with the title has not reached completion (if you are an avid gameonnintendo reader, you may notice this trend to continue…I really think I have ADHD….).

Today marks the day that the stylish and gruesome No More Heroes title makes its triumphant debut on a Nintendo Wii near you. If you plan on purchasing the title, run to your local gamestore and pick it up today!
If you do not plan on purchasing this highly sought after 3rd party title, maybe the following reviews will help you change your mind. The game is fairing rather well in numerous publications and websites. Here are just a few reviews:
-Gamepro gave this title a 4.5/5. Here is an excerpt from the review:
No More Heroes presents a simple story–in order to impress a girl, Travis Touchdown, a geeky hipster-samurai engages in a duel with and kills the 11th ranked assassin in the United States. Since he’s already on the muddy trail, Travis decides to work his way down the list to become the best damn assassin this side of Altair and Agent 47.
-The good guys over at IGN gave the game a 7.8. Here is what they had to say:
No More Heroes isn’t the most polished game out there, and it certainly has its fair share of quirks all around, but it deserves to keep its place in the libraries of the more serious Wii gamers just the same. Suda 51 promised a violent, stylistic spectacle, and he delivered.
-Rounding out our review roundup would have to be 4CR. 4CR gave the game an impressive 9 out of 10 having this to say about the game:
Overall, I recommend No More Heroes to anyone looking for a truly unique gaming experience. It is greater than the sum of its parts, and should be seen as an example of how an action game for the Wii should be made. NMH is one of the best games on the Wii, and its purchase should be a requirement if you wish to call yourself a true gamer.
Well there you have it gamers. What are you still reading this story for, go buy this game!
