So this story may be a day old but I felt compelled to post it anyway since I was slacking yesterday and I forgot to hit “publish”. World of Goo, an amazingly awesome WiiWare title, is apparently done and has been submitted to Nintendo for approval. Keep those wiimotes crossed that the Big N gives them the green light ASAP as it looks to be a great addition to the WiiWare library.
Quick Update: Japanese gamers get ready; the highly anticipated Mega Man 9 will be headed to a VC near you on September 24th! Although no American release was given, I am certain we can expect to see the blue bomber in the very near future.

For all of those people out there who may not know what this game is all about, let me hit you with some knowledge; Potpourrii is a brand new title that is supposedly headed to the WiiWare channel on September 15th. Now I don’t mean to sound pessimistic when I say “supposedly” but Nintendo has to approve it before the title hits the channel.
The game looks to take a page out of the highly addictive “Bust A Move” Series and looks to be a decent buy for any puzzle addict out there. Does anyone out there plan on purchasing this WiiWare title?
The WiiWare title that everyone is desperately waiting for, Mega Man 9, will be soon seeing a release and a plethora of gamers will no doubt spend their hard earned Wii points on some retro goodness; complete with the old school flicker feature.

This title, for all of those who don’t know, is being developed by the original students who worked on one of Wii’s most promising 3rd party titles, de Blob. The game can be described as a “side scrolling” RTS title and looks pretty freakin’ amazing. I know I can’t wait and I hope you all enjoy the screens.

The game is scheduled for an autumn release and will support the Wii balance board. The game will apparently feature 18 new game modes to help keep things fresh for the aging puzzler.
Below are the first screens of newly announced Nintendo WiiWare game Wild West Gun. I am strangely attracted to this title as it seems like it would be actually fun. Will anyone out there give it a go?

I don’t know about you but I love the revival of old school titles that is headed to WiiWare. Mega Man 9, a new Castlevania (rumor) and now Space Invaders. I’m not sure I can handle all of this nostalgia in one sitting. I hope you all enjoyed the quality trailer above. Let us know what you think!
