1. Have fun! This site is made by the fans for the fans so enjoy it!
2. Keep it civil: Any major flame wars or arguments will not be tolerated, and such postings will be immediately deleted by administration and if continued problems persist, users will be banned. This includes racial slurs or biased and or bigoted statements against a persons race, gender, or sexual preference.
3. Try to keep the spam to a minimum. Spam is considered a post with less than one complete thought. Though we don't mind it too much don't abuse that fact to exploit anything like the post count or rank system.
4. Keep on topic. If you'd like to post off topic or just post random suff (to an extent) we have a lovely spam forum where you can spam to your hearts content.
5. Don't advertise for your site. If you would like to advertise your site contact a mod or an admin for their verification. Links to video game related sites are ok (the lounge being an exception. Movies, music, internet related things are ok), otherwise contact us first.
6. Links to, images of, or posts related to any kind of inapropriate material will not be tollorated and will result in an immediate banning.
7. Secondary accounts are not allowed and will be deleted allong with a warning to the user. If someone else (friend, family, etc.) creates an account under your IP (on your computer) please contact one of the mods or admins so we know.
Warning System
Here at GameOn forums we have a warning system to help keep our site clean and clear of any problems.
Here is how it will work:
- First Warning: The user will recieve a simple warning.
- Second Warning: The user will recieve a three day ban.
- Third Warning: The user will recieve a week ban.
- Fourth Warning: The user will recieve a month ban.
- Fifth Warning: The user will be banned for good.
We, the admins and mods, reserve the right to ban upon sight if a post contains material we feel is extremely inopropriate.
If you think that your warning or banning was unfair contact an admin by pm or email (at forums@gameonnintendo.com). If they believe it was unfair the banning or warning will be lifted.
